Thunder Mountian Longhorn Pepper | Capsicum annuum | Pod Review

Here is the Thunder Mountian Longhorn Pepper, Capsicum annuum. This pepper comes from the Leigongshan Mountains in China where it is dried out and smoked. This has a few phenotype’s that came out of this variety. One was red and one was orange. It is a compact and bushy plant and can be a heavy producer. Pods can get to 14″ long but remain thin. You can Grow it as an ornamental, or in the vegetable garden, or both!

  4. i recommend starting your seeds sometime in mid march an keep them under lights. so when you give them over they are of good size an maybe even have peppers on them : )

  5. use a 100 watt fluorescent bulb and hang it about 6 to 12 inches above the plant for 12 to 14 hours a day. use a timer. also make sure you water it regular but don’t over water
